My dad believed that one year old was old enough to start exploring the world, and my parents instilled a love for travel in me from the very beginning. Traveling wasn’t just something we did; it was how we created lasting memories together.

When I got married, my husband and I carried on that tradition. Whether it was a quick weekend escape to someplace thrilling like Dubuque, Iowa (because who doesn’t dream of that?), or exploring new destinations, we embraced every opportunity to travel. Once we had children, our love for travel only grew. Over the years, we’ve learned how to travel light, travel big, and most importantly, travel smart.
